I recently shot a job for a client. When we were finished, their old Goldie came limping into the room and plopped down on the rug. I knelt, made a couple of quick grab shots and packed my stuff to the truck. When I returned to the shop I picked out the best shot and sent the family a large format print. They really appreciated the gesture because they had no pictures of the family pet. Sometimes that tiny bit of extra effort cements a lasting relationship with a client.

that was a really great gesture…I have a dog that’s getting older as well and I try to take as many shots of her as I can.
