My name is Aitcheff and I’ve been a shooter for more years than I care to admit. Let’s just say that I began shooting for my high school newspaper in the era when we stopped chipping stone tablets and began to worry with glass plates. My friends have called me HF since the beginning, hence the nom-de-lens of Aitcheff. I have one dear friend I’ve been trying to explain this to for years, but for some reason it has just not registered. Since I have so much more faith in the rest of you — I’ll just leave it at that.
Photography has been my career, job, calling, hobby, passion, and so much more. I’ve told my family time and again that they don’t have to worry about me retiring. You retire from “jobs,” but you just keep following your love. I hope that some of that comes through in what I am able to share on this site.
Thanks to many years in the military, I’ve been blessed with opportunities in Southeast Asia, Central America, South America, and a large portion of the United States. Without the military I would not have been able to work and play in such diverse areas.
Be strong, stay in touch, and keep following your dreams.
Aitcheff
